COMIA is offering the only Music Business Classes in the city of San Antonio. These classes allow every student an individual education and, unlike conventional programs, you can custom tailor your class selection to meet your needs. CEO and instructor Chris Lieck taught the Music Business Program at San Antonio College and in the interest of expanding that classes beyond the strict SACC guidlines, COMIA was born to give students a more comprehensive, "real world" approach. Chris is the President of Tejas Records, CCM Management, Melody Ranch Recording, Master Labs US, and two publishing companies. He designed these Music Business classes to be taught at night, enabling the student to carry on with his primary schooling or work schedule. The focus of each class in the Audio Classes is engineering and recording and in the business side, realistic scenarios that you will be up against when you are working on entering into the business world. You are learning from a CEO of a record label and that is of great value.
You can take only one class or you can choose a series of classes but each class in INDEPENDENT of the other.
At COMIA we "role play" and form of teaching is the way we feel best helps you in real life scenarios. There are recording labs, music business labs as well as private instruction, upon your request. We only accept 4 students per class. The learning environment is relaxed and conducive to full participation and appreciation of your classes. All classes are "hands on." At COMIA you will learn at your own pace.
The teaching style is "real" and deals with the content and situations that you will be subjected to in the real world of the Music Business. The only materials you will need are a pen and tablet.
Review the links below for course descriptions and specific details. We look forward to you visiting our free orientations held every 4-6 weeks. FINANCING is available.
At COMIA we want every student to experience what it feels like to be placed in real life RECORD LABEL and RECORDING STUDIO scenarios.
